Hey Bratz Fans!

It’s been a slow news year for us, so we’re sorry for the lack of Bratz updates! But we finally do have something cool to share about our favorite Girls With a Passion for Fashion – We got our hands on the official prototypes and inspiration boards for this year’s international exclusive My Passion Wave 2 Yasmin and Meygan dolls! Check ’em out below 🙂

How seriously stunning are these two?! Luckily (Well for those of you who live in the few places these were sold!) the finished dolls don’t differ too much – Meygan’s accessories actually got a little more detailed, taking some clear inspiration from the makeup case shown in her mood board. One thing we’re extremely curious about is “Indie Song Writer Felicia“! Yes, you’re reading that right, Pretty Princess was going to be a brand new Felicia! To be honest, we’re so relieved that didn’t end up happening. Can you imagine the agony of never being able to own her?! Nonetheless, it’s good to know she’s still being considered by MGA and we would totally LOVE to see the earliest prototype for her as Fe.

So what are your thoughts?! Comment below, or let us know on facebook or twitter!

Hey Bratz Fans!

LONG time, no update! We’re really sorry for the delay in announcing the winners of our drawing for the two Bratz Russian-Exclusive Special Edition Holiday dolls! We’ve both been pretty busy, but now it is finally spring break and time to let everyone know whose pictures we drew!

We received TONS of amazing entries, far more than even we were expecting! And MGA was just as impressed! Everybody should be really proud of their hard work, win or no win. And now without further ado…

First, Cloe is going to Daisy Flores! Daisy gave us this adorable edit of 2004’s Wintertime Collection artwork and said, “I love Bratz [because] they express [themselves]!” We love that too! ;D

And next, Yasmin is on her way to “prettyprincesa1337”, who submitted this cute photo of Pretty Princess working some special holiday sparkle! She says she loves Bratz “[because] they [are] unique and cool dolls. they [inspire] me to be my self and love fashion!” Sounds great to us!

We will be raffling off Yasmin and Cloe individually and giving them to the lucky winners totally free of charge! If you’re outside of Russia, this will likely be your one and only chance to own one! To enter the raffle is super simple. 🙂

Here’s how to get your name in the drawing!

The holiday season is all about giving, and of course nobody gives more to the Bratz fans than the girlz themselves and the people who make them up at MGA! So this winter, we’re going to give back and say “thankz!” with a totally stylin’ wintertime scrapbook from all the Bratzies! To get into the book as well as our exclusive drawing for the Russian Exclusive Bratz Special Edition Yasmin & Cloe dolls, you’ve got to create a visual of some sort (It can be a photo, a drawing, an awesome edit, even a super-stylin’ winter fashion design – Basically, if we can print it, it’s perfect!) related to the Bratz, as well as a winter or holiday theme! Once you’re done, email your work to bbntm@bratzboulevard.com as well as your preferred name and a sentence on why you LOVE the Bratz! Check out our little example below 🙂

Here's an example of what we're looking for - a winter or holiday-themed Bratz visual, a sentence on what you LOVE about the Bratz, and your preferred name! :) Email it all to bbntm@bratzboulevard.com

To select the winners, we will be drawing two names at random, so don’t worry if you feel your work might not be the best, it’s just your ticket in! We know that the folks at MGA are going to totally love and appreciate all of the Bratzies’ work no matter what! The deadline for entering is December 20th, 2013 and anybody can enter – just make sure if you’re under 18 that your parents or guardians are cool with you receiving a package from us first! We can’t wait to see what everybody turns in!!

If you’re still not totally convinced that you should join in, have a better look at the two amazing prizes in Alex’s video review below!

Hey Bratz Fans!

It’s Novemer, and you all know what that means – Spring Bratz on Taobao! We’ve been combing the site daily for a few weeks now and have tracked down a few goodies that could be from the Bratz 2014 wardrobe! Check ’em out below 🙂

L-R: Moxie Girlz Cotton Candy Style Avery in a new fashion, Cotton Candy Style Sophina in her stock outfit, a brand new 2014 Sophina in My Passion Cloe's top and brand new leggings, and a brand new 2014 Monet wearing a "duct tape"-style dress, possibly for Project Bratz! Click to view full size.

These pieces just went up today! The one we’re most sure about is the vinyl dress Monet (far right) is wearing, as it appears too big for her, and also matches the “duct tape” descriptions of the Project Bratz line. We think this is a hot dress and would look fab on Yasmin with the right accessories! It kind of reminds us of 2009’s Pampered Petz Yasmin, mixed with some of the vinyl fashions that defined that era for Bratz. Other new pieces here are the pineapple print leggings on Sophina (3rd) and the red, green and purple grape dress on Avery (Far left). We’re kind of hoping those fruity pieces are actually for Moxie girlz, since they seem to fit them better both size and style-wise. It is also a possibility that they are from the spring Garden Party line as well though.

This cute minidress has actually been floating around Taobao for about a week now, though we’ve been hesitant to post it before knowing for sure what it was for, but why not? We’re assuming the gold version being modeled by Sasha is a factory error, as the one in blue, green and gold on Jade is listed by a few sellers. We are also assuming the shoes and earrings on Jade are included in whichever doll the dress is intended for, our best guess being Project Bratz given the “duct tape” look of the vinyl dress! We think this is such a cute piece, we love the bright colors and the tribal-inspired striped print! We actually did get to ask one of our friends at MGA about this dress, and whether or not it’s for Project Bratz. They said, “If I remember right, that dolls dress doesn’t look like the final duct tape look we had gone with. But, to be fair, it’s been close to six months since I’ve seen them.” So it sounds like it could go either way! Regardless, we like what we see!

And just a reminder, stay tuned for our big announcement PLUS our raffle for the Russian Exclusive Bratz Special Edition dolls coming up very soon!

Hey Bratz Fans!

It’s that time of the year again – time for all of this fall’s Bratz releases to start leaking out! We’ve seen Strut it!, 4/5 of the Bratzillaz, Chic Mystique, Boutique, and now in stunning high resolution, Crystalicious! A promo photo, presumably the one to be used on the back of Crystalicious Cloe’s box (judging by the background edited to match her outfit, as well as the emphasis placed on her name and her doll), was leaked today on a Russian Bratz website, and brought to our attention by our awesome friend, Anya S! We’ll have more information on the photo’s source soon, but for now – let’s gush!

L-R: Sasha, Jade, Cloe, and Yasmin!

As you  know from our previous report on the fall 2012 Bratz lines, Crystalicious is one of two hairplay lines for fall. The main feature appears to be “crystal” hair extensions, which will attach with one of the Bratz’ signature star clips. Much like Featherageous, it appears the extensions can also be removed from their clips, and braided into the dolls’ hair, which you can see on Sasha and Yasmin in the above promo shot. Also included are stick-on crystals, and what look to be tinsel extensions. Also in the style of Featherageous, the dolls appear to have floor-length saran hair as well, which is always a plus! All four dolls are dressed in very cute, shimmery party dresses, covered in sequins and flowers. Earlier this month, the Bratz facebook page shared a close-up of the girls’ dresses and everything looks super detailed! Also worth noting is the return of glittery eyeshadow to the Bratz’ faces. If you click the image above, you’ll see the full-sized photo for a more detailed view. Can’t wait!
