To get into the book as well as our exclusive drawing for the Russian Exclusive Bratz Special Edition Yasmin & Cloe dolls, you’ve got to create a visual of some sort (It can be a photo, a drawing, an awesome edit, even a super-stylin’ winter fashion design – Basically, if we can print it, it’s perfect!) related to the Bratz, as well as a winter or holiday theme! Once you’re done, email your work to bbntm@bratzboulevard.com as well as your preferred name and a sentence on why you LOVE the Bratz! Check out our little example below 🙂

Hey Bratz Fans!

It’s officially fall, and you know what that means – time to start scouring taobao daily for new Bratz! LOL! Today we found a listing for this fall’s Bratz Special Edition Cloe doll! Until now, all we had seen of Angel was her promo pic on the back of Yasmin’s box, but now we’ve got pix of her, deboxed and lookin’ seriously stunning! Check ’em out below.

WOW! We love her, even more than Yasmin! Her makeup is gorgeous – love the red lips! Her hair also looks to be nice quality. We are so lovin’ the throwbacks in this line. Fellow super-Bratzies will note that Cloe is working a new version of Bratz Holiday 2006’s Trinity dress, but remixed in a really nice, warm red & gold color scheme. We love the little glitter detailing all over it! Also a bit of a throwback are Cloe’s shoes! We are definitely here for all the returning classic Bratz shoe molds we’ve gotten this year! Hopefully Cloe & Yasmin will show up in stores soon, just in time for the holidayz!

How stunning do these look?! Finally a step towards collectors edition Bratz! Yasmin’s dress looks gorgeous and very detailed, and it actually reminds us a bit of Holiday Katia’s, but in pink! Cloe in the back really steals the spotlight for us though – she looks SO amazing in red! We can’t wait to see how she looks IRL. We’re loving the box design and the inclusion of stands too!

Thanks for sharing these with us, CheeChee!

Hey Bratz Fans!

Alex here, and if you haven’t already heard, the first wave of Bratzillaz Switch-A-Witch is in stores now in both the United States and Canada! Of course I had to run out and grab them as soon as I heard the news. Check ’em out below!

First, I had to take a photo in the store of the BZ pack next to a Monster High Create-A-Monster set, and even to my surprise, they’re even more different from each other than previously though! The main similarity was the packaging, but even that’s hardly similar. Bratzillaz’ box has a more “warm”, redder color scheme, and features frames on the background, as well as a fun and curvy border on the front, keeping it in with the branding for the rest of the Bratzillaz products. Monster High went for a bright lime green background, with black rectangles corresponding to the placement of each piece. And speaking of placement, even that’s pretty different. Sure the arms are all together in both sets, but where else would they place them…? If you want to get technical, you could easily say Monster High AND Bratzillaz are copying the original “Build-A-Doll”, Betty Spaghetty! Packaging aside, the obvious difference is that the Bratzillaz double pack includes far more pieces, including not only what’s necessary to build both dolls, but to fully dress them head-to-toe as well. While the Create-A-Monster sets includes two basic dresses, one pair of shoes, one real-hair wig, and one molded-hair wig, Bratzillaz keep their witches covered in two tops, two skirts, two pairs of shoes, two saran wigs, two pairs of earrings, two bracelets, two hats, and two capes – one of which doubles as a belt! With the Bratzillaz set being $24.99, and the Monster High set at $19.99, it means you can technically get two fully-articulated, saran-haired, glass-eyes BZ dolls for $12.50 (cheaper than the basic “Core” assortment out now, which lacks articulation, saran hair, and glass eyes!) or one fully-dressed-but-not-accessorized, fully-articulated Monster High ghoul with either kenekalon or molded hair, and one without shoes for about $10 each, which is cheaper than the $14.99+ they’d force you to pay as stand-alone dolls, but still at least double what they’re worth based on quality! Just some facts for consumers to consider, now let’s get wicked! 😉

Here’s both sets from the first wave in their boxes! It’s a bit hard to tell, but each torso piece is actually a different mold! The leg molds are actually different on each witch too, surprisingly. Don’t worry, all three can share fashions with each other as well as with the other Bratzillaz too. Personally, I love that MGA is giving us this unexpected variety! Also, I already mentioned that the 2-pack is $24.99, but the single pack is $14.99 🙂

Here’s everything that both sets come with! The double pack includes: 2 heads, 2 torsos (with the waist joint!), 4 upper legs, 4 lower legs, 4 upper arms, 4 lower arms, 4 hands, 2 saran wigs, 2 pairs of shoes, 2 pairs of earrings, 2 bracelets, 2 hats, 2 capes (one of which doubles as a belt, as I mentioned above!), 2 tops, 2 bottoms, one brush, and instructions. Note that the background of the box makes an AMAZING backdrop for photos too!

The single pack includes: 1 head, 1 torso (with the waist joint!), 2 upper legs, 2 lower legs, 2 upper arms, 2 lower arms, 2 hands, 1 saran wig, 1 pair of shoes, 1 pair of earrings, 1 hat, 1 cape, 1 top, 1 bottom, 1 brush, and instructions.

And now that you’ve seen everything they come with, we can put them together and brew up three complete wicked glam witches!

The three combos I've made so far! Keep in mind that I used pieces from both sets, so you'd need to buy both in order to create these specifically. Click to view full-size!

Aren’t they amazing? MGA really did an outstanding job on this line. The black and white witch is so bold and edgy, and definitely not something you’d typically see on a stroll down the playline doll aisle! The witch in pink and green is another real cutie. I love her winged eye makeup, and of course that ‘fro is to die for! The single pack face is just amazing as well. When MGA does glass eyes, they do them RIGHT! She’s sporting the Bratzillaz’ world-famous glitter eyes in silver!

Those EYES! I went for a bit of a 'tween' look for her, since her body type is the least matured. Maybe she got her scholarship to the Academy early? Click to view full-size, or check her out at flickr.com/alexbabs

Here's Miss 'Fro working it! If I were to give her a magical power, I'd probably give her the ability to control emotions! Since she's a bit clown-like, I think she should make people laugh! Click to view full-size or check her out at flickr.com/alexbabs

Hey Bratz Fans!

Tonight we’ve got another update on the upcoming Bratzillaz Switch-A-Witch line! Now up on taobao are some pieces from the 2nd wave of SAW sets, as advertised on the back of the 1st wave box. Check ’em out below!

These are the assembled dolls that were up. As you can see, the two-toned theme is continuing, and actually going even more over-the-top for wave 2! Click to view full-size.

As you can see, the second wave is taking the two-toned theme of the 1st wave and bringing it way over the top in BRIGHT colors with wicked funky costume makeup! The shapes over the witches’ eyes totally remind us of Jem and the Holograms! Assuming the fashion pieces shown are actually for these sets, it looks like floral prints will be a big theme as well. We love how trendy the fashions are, while still having that Bratzillaz fantasy edge! If the blue and white witch is wearing her boots, it looks like some new shoe molds are to be expected as well.

Above are a few of the wigs and skirts that were also listed. We’re not sure if the pink bob is actually from the set, or if they just put a Moxie Teenz wig on the head, but we thought it was worth including just in case. We’re loving the two-toned bob in ice white and electric lime green!

So what are your thoughts on the new Bratzillaz Switch-A-Witch wave 2 sets so far? We love how wild and bright they are! Sound off in the comments, tweet us @BratzBoulevard, or “Like” us at facebook.com/BratzBoulevard!
