Hey Bratz Fans!
Today, our awesome buddy Teahoshi shared a link to one of the press releases about GBK’s Gift Suite at this year’s MTV Movie Awards – where the Bratzillaz made their public debut! The full article can be read here on LA’s The Place 🙂 The following is an excerpt from the article, where the Bratz and Bratzillaz are discussed:
“MGA Entertainment, showcased their Bratz True Hope bald dolls in celebration of their historic arrival at Toys R Us in mid-June. MGA will also gave celebrities an exclusive first look at the new [Bratzillaz] line of dolls, not available in stores until August. [Bratzillaz] are the older cousins of Bratz and they possess magical powers. Gifted to include one [Bratzillaz] doll on site and an invitation to receive new Bratz True Hope dolls when they arrive in stores mid-June. www.mgae.com“
August? Interesting… Of course, the same was said about Masquerade last year – and those made their first in-store appearance on June 21st! I guess we’ll all just have to keep an eye out. Now, photos!
A selection of gifts at GBK’s Gift Suite at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards
In the above photo, we see a table featuring an extensive sampling of gifts – and Bratzillaz girl Meygana Boomstix is one of them! Definitely worth noting is the appearance of pleats in her skirt, just like the prototype! This leads us to wonder if we can expect some other changes on the four other dolls. Interesting for sure!

Of course the True Hope dolls were in attendance too, but those are in stores now anyways hehe 😉 Still, it’s nice to see how Trend it! Shadi’s outfit looks on Cloe ^_^
