Hey Bratz Fans!

We know a lot of you (and us too!) have been going crazy trying to find some of this fall’s Bratz – more specifically the Trend it! 1.5 line with Shadi, Vinessa, and Meygan, this year’s Pajama Party line, Crystalicious Deluxe, and the Bratz Chic Mystique Funky Fashion Makeover heads! Unfortunately, we are able to confirm that all of the listed items are international exclusives, and at the moment, MGA does not have immediate plans to release them in North America. BUT, there is one silver lining to this cloud! One of our friends over at MGA has informed us that she’s going to let the Bratz team know how much we’d love to see these lines (especially Trend it! ;)) and hopefully we’ll get them at some point next year! Nothing’s guaranteed, but it’s totally possible!

Hey Bratz Fans!

Normally, we try to avoid posting articles about prototypes, as we don’t really feel they qualify as news (unless they’re protos for something that hasn’t come out yet ;D), but these are just too cool not to share! We’ve got photos of some AWESOME prototypes for the Bratz Totally Tattoo’d line (clearly from when it was still called “Biker Babez”), and some interesting shots of Crystalicious protos as well! Check ’em out below.

Bratz Biker Babez! L-R: Cloe, Jade, Meygan, Yasmin, and Sasha! Click to view full-size

W O W! Are they hot or what? We’re really happy to see that the fashions didn’t change much other than a few rips here and there and some losses of fabric. Something we wish hadn’t changed at all though is that hair! We love the choppy, colorful chunks that the girlz are rockin’ here. It’s definitely something we don’t see everyday from the Bratz! Those helmets would have been majorly cute accessories too, but with the name change, it makes sense that we’d lose those too. Either way, we’re loving our final Totally Tattoo’d dolls just as much!

Bratz Crystalicious! L-R: Cloe, Jade, and Yasmin! Click to view full-size

And next up is this odd prototype shot for Crystalicious! The fashions are literally exactly like the released dolls’, but the hair and faces are totally different! These prototypes look to have modified versions of some of last year’s faces. Cloe appears to have her Slumber Party face, with reshaped lips and added lashes. Jade actually looks to have a whole new face (and some really GORGEOUS curly brown hair!) , and Yasmin’s appears to be her 2010 Basic face, with the same modifications as Cloe’s. Also worth noting is that funky tinsel extension in Cloe’s hair. The final extension definitely didn’t come out like that (thankfully ;P)

So, what are your thoughts on these pretty protos? Tweet us @BratzBoulevard, let us know on facebook (facebook.com/BratzBoulevard), or post about ’em in the forum at BratzBoulevard.com!

Hey Bratz Fans!

We’ve finally got an update on the Bratz Crystalicious Deluxe dolls and Spa playset! Our friend at MGA has confirmed for us today that the line appears to be an international release. For those who don’t know, “international” in MGA terms means it won’t be coming to North America. We’re a little bummed that us North American Bratzies can’t get our hands on the CUTE real-working hairdryers, but at least those overseas can! Hopefully we’ll see them in a different line at some point though…

Hey Bratz Fans!

By now, we’re sure everyone’s read the listings for Bratz Crystalicious on sites like Target.com, Very.co.uk, Walmart.com, etc. and has come across details like a real-working hairdryer, and glitter hairgel coming with the dolls. We’ll be the first to admit, we thought all of that was just a mistake, and that perhaps the websites were confusing the dolls with the Salon and Spa playset, which does include a real working hairdryer. Besides, we’ve got photos of the dolls in their boxes! MGA wouldn’t put out two “classes” of the same line, would they? Yes they would, and they have! Thanks to a recent listing with photos, we can now confirm that there is a deluxe version of the Bratz Crystalicious line that will include a real-working hairdryer and glitter hair gel! Check out Jade below…

Bratz Crystalicious Deluxe Jade in her box!

As you all can see, the only differences are the boxes and of course, the added hairdryer and glitter gel. The dolls themselves remain unchanged 🙂

Hey Bratz Fans!

Are you ready for some MAJOR news? Hold onto your seats!

Check out these amazing pictures of the Boutique and “Midnight Mystique”(the name was changed from Chic Mystique on the source of these photos) dolls! They are so funky and fabulous!

Here are the Boutique gals for you!

All these girls are looking super trendy in their casual but classy outfits, all complete with sunglasses and a bag. All three girls are sporting fun hairstyles, while Jade and Cloe both rock trendy fur vests! We are loving the use of different patterns, but could do without Jade’s sneaker heels! The girls all look prepped and ready for a day’s work at each of their blazzin’ boutiques.

And of course, Midnight Mystique/Chic Mystique!

Our girls have never looked more elegant! Each doll has a unique color scheme and is complete with beautiful wings and a mask. Seems like a very extravagant Masquerade spinoff! With exotic hair colors for all, this is truly a new concept and step for the Bratz! Not to mention… take a look at those shoes! Could they possibly be Lady Gaga inspired? One thing’s for sure, we are IN LOVE with that funkalishious footwear! Although, let’s hope they come with stands because there’s no way those are standing on their own! Over all, this is a truly unique line and fresh concept that we can’t wait to see in stores!

Lastly, here’s the Crystalicious “Salon and Spa” playset!
Image
This playset is looking so fun and perfect for pampering the Crystalicious gang! Although it’s much smaller than the 2003 “Salon N’ Spa”, it does have some similar features, and we’re digging the foot bath! (Is that what it’s called?) Although it may be smaller, it still seems like tons of fun and a great addition to the Crystalicious collection!

Hey Bratz Fans!

Amazon.de, the German branch of Amazon, has listed several of this fall’s Bratz and Bratzillaz products! While most of the products listed have been previously announced, the listings provide new information that was previously unconfirmed. You can view all of the listings here.

Perhaps the most exciting of them all is a new winter-themed line called Pink Winter World! This line, previously misinterpreted as “Pink Water World”, has been known of for about a week or two, though this is the first legitimate confirmation of the line, and also lists previously-unknown information! Amazon.de has listings up for a Yasmin, Cloe, and Meygan doll. We’re a bit concerned that “Closmin” may be back in action, but it is a possibility that Sasha is in the line as well, since she’s rarely sold overseas. According to the listings, the dolls will each include two outfits – one for their winter sports, and a second for a ski lodge party, in addition to a doll-sized cup of cocoa, and a keychain for you! This reminds us a lot of Wintertime Wonderland from 2003 and 2004, which also included two outfits (and for the same functions at that!), doll-sized cocoa, and keychains for you! We’re hoping these girls aren’t too “pinked out” though, since that’s not a very Bratzy look, if you know what we mean 😉

Also listed are the Crystalicious, Chic Mystique, and Boutique lines. While the Crystalicious and Chic Mystique listings don’t reveal anything new, the Boutique listings confirm that each doll will include two complete fashions (And yes, that means TWO pairs of shoes!), a mannequin whose stand also works for the dolls, sales counters, cash registers, scanners with real chirping sound effects, bracelets, earrings, sunglasses, tote bags, purses, shopping bags, and shoe boxes – all neatly packed in a box which doubles as a character-specific boutique (Yasmin Chic & Co, Angel Cloe & Co, L.O.V.E. Jade, and Sasha’s isn’t listed)

And in the world of Bratzillaz, there are listings for the dolls, pets, playset, secret message pad, fashion packs, and accessory packs! We now know that the Secret Message Pad will be a writing pad of some sort, which includes an “invisible ink” pen and a “magic light” which will reveal whatever you write (We can assume the light will be a black light), and that the set will double as a picture frame! While the listings for the fashion and accessory packs don’t reveal any specific details, the titles are now confirmed. The fashion packs are called “Romantic Spell”, “Midnight Magic”, “Blood Red Charm”, “True Blue Style”, and “Changed-Up Chic”. We’re guessing Romantic Spell will be Jade’s, Midnight Magic will be Yasmina’s, Blood Red Charm will be Sashabella’s, True Blue Style will be Meygana’s, and Changed-Up Chic will be Cloetta’s. The accessory packs are called “Wicked Night Out”, “Charmed Life”, and “Academy Style”. We think Charmed Life will include lots of shiny bling for the witches, Academy Style will include some school-themed accessories for the girls’ school of magic and fashion, and Wicked Night Out will include fun “dressy” accessories like clips, headbands, etc.

We’re so excited to see everything! Let’s hope we can see some photos soon 😀

Hey Bratz Fans!

Another big update on the Bratz Crystalicious dolls today! Thanks to the Chinese auction site, taobao, where many factory workers post factory rejects and stolen goods, we are the FIRST to share these clear photos of the Crystalicious dolls exactly as we’ll be getting them, boxed and all! You can check out the full listing here.

All four Bratz Crystalicious dolls! L-R: Sasha, Jade, Cloe, and Yasmin!

The first thing to strike us was the similarity to the Funk ‘n Glow packaging from this spring, which sadly means this line has no artwork that we know of. On the bright side though, we do appreciate the more modern and elegant vibe of this style of packaging, and the cut-out cards on the back are very cute too!

The back of all four Bratz Crystalicious boxes! L-R: Sasha, Jade, Cloe, and Yasmin

As you can see in the above photo, we were correct about the promo picture we saw earlier being for Cloe’s box 😉 Now, onto the dolls!

Bratz Crystalicious Yasmin

Yasmin is absolutely stunning in her sequined dress! We are very happy to see that the dolls and their outfits not only match their promo photos, but that the flowers on their dresses are actually removable too! Yasmin’s makeup is fantastic too. We love that they’re switching up their palettes a lot, and Yasmin really pops in her bubblegum pink lipstick! The glitter eyeshadow is still present as well, thankfully. She looks to have gone back to her original, lighter shade of brown hair, with some cute golden blonde highlights mixed in as well! It looks like this line will include a clip-in hair extension made of iridescent tinsel and “crystal” beads, as well as nine little gems, and six “flower” gems which can be used on their dresses, as well as their hair! We’re going to take a shot in the dark and guess that these girls will also include ten rubber bands like the Featherageous girls too, though we won’t know for sure until they hit stores 🙂

Bratz Crystalicious Cloe

Cloe is absolutely breath-taking! Her sizzlin’ silver mini dress is easily our favorite, with its modern design and sparkling sequins all over. Her face is just as flawless too, and like Yasmin, she’s upped the “drama” a bit (We all know how dramatic Cloe is, LOL) in her palette, with very bright reddish pink lips and glittery silver eyeshadow! Her hair color looks to be her signature platinum, though not quite as light as usual, probably for fall 😉

Bratz Crystalicious Sasha

Sasha is most definitely another favorite too – We love our Bunny Boo with bangs and braids! 😉 Her dress is also a fave, for its realistic look and gorgeous fall colors that look superb on Sasha. The coloring in her makeup is somewhat similar to that of her Catz doll, though her actual eye color is different, and her lips are a bit more orangey, plus she’s got teeth! Lately Sasha’s been experimenting with her hair color a bit, and Crystalicious sees her rockin’ a nice blend of black and brown, with some red mixed in!

Bratz Crystalicious Jade

Jade looks pretty in purple for Crystalicious! Kool Kat’s purrrfect party dress definitely gives us some retro vibes with its fun ruffles and metallic material. Her makeup isn’t quite as bold as the others, but Jade still manages to hold her own in the line with her pink lips and pretty violet eyeshadow! She also has her signature bangs, though her hair actually looks to be pure black again in this line, which is refreshing after having so many releases where her hair is a blend of black and darker browns 🙂

So, those are the new Crystalicious Bratz for this fall! You can expect them in stores during the summer, and probably pretty soon actually since they’re already on taobao 😉

Hey Bratz Fans!

It’s that time of the year again – time for all of this fall’s Bratz releases to start leaking out! We’ve seen Strut it!, 4/5 of the Bratzillaz, Chic Mystique, Boutique, and now in stunning high resolution, Crystalicious! A promo photo, presumably the one to be used on the back of Crystalicious Cloe’s box (judging by the background edited to match her outfit, as well as the emphasis placed on her name and her doll), was leaked today on a Russian Bratz website, and brought to our attention by our awesome friend, Anya S! We’ll have more information on the photo’s source soon, but for now – let’s gush!

L-R: Sasha, Jade, Cloe, and Yasmin!

As you  know from our previous report on the fall 2012 Bratz lines, Crystalicious is one of two hairplay lines for fall. The main feature appears to be “crystal” hair extensions, which will attach with one of the Bratz’ signature star clips. Much like Featherageous, it appears the extensions can also be removed from their clips, and braided into the dolls’ hair, which you can see on Sasha and Yasmin in the above promo shot. Also included are stick-on crystals, and what look to be tinsel extensions. Also in the style of Featherageous, the dolls appear to have floor-length saran hair as well, which is always a plus! All four dolls are dressed in very cute, shimmery party dresses, covered in sequins and flowers. Earlier this month, the Bratz facebook page shared a close-up of the girls’ dresses and everything looks super detailed! Also worth noting is the return of glittery eyeshadow to the Bratz’ faces. If you click the image above, you’ll see the full-sized photo for a more detailed view. Can’t wait!

Hey Bratz fans!

Everyone’s super psyched for this fall’s Bratz lines to hit shelves this summer, and with good reason – what we’ve seen so far is H-O-T, hot! But in case you haven’t been keeping up, here’s the low-down on what to expect from the Bratz this fall.

One of the first lines you can expect is called Miss IndepenDance. Hot on the heels of this spring’s seasonal line, Heart Breakerz, comes this fierce and festive Fourth of July line, which will feature the core four girls in red, white, and blue fashions and hair streaks with matching hair extensions for you! It seems like MGA’s getting in the habit of making sizzlin’ seasonal lines out of older limited editions, which is fine by us – We’ve got our fingers crossed for a New Year’s line, MGA! 😉 No photos at this time, but we’re expecting some soon…

And the basic line for this fall will be Strut it! It will feature the core four girls, as well as the return of fan-favorite, Fianna! The new artwork posted on Bratz.com is for this line, and we’re happy to report that so far, the dolls look pretty close to their art! At the moment , we have prototype shots for Yasmin, Cloe, Sasha, and Jade, plus a final promo for Yasmin. We love how each girl’s personality is clearly represented in their outfits, while staying on-trend at the same time. Strut it! indeed 😉

L-R: Cloe, Jade, Yasmin, and Sasha. Jade and Yasmin will be very different from their prototypes, but Cloe and Sasha should be pretty close!

Here’s the final promo shot for Strut it! Yasmin. This is what the doll will look like on store shelves 🙂

What is expected to be one of the hottest and most scandalously stylin’ lines this fall is Biker Babez. While not many specifics are known about this line as of yet, toy fair reports say the line will feature the Bratz (Though which Bratz are included is unknown, one would assume the core four are included – We’d love to see the Bratz Pack’s resident bad boy Cade too!) in hot leather fashions and (get ready for this one) tattoos! Each doll will also include a tattoo sleeve for you so can join the Bratz in their speed-demon fun! No photos at this time though.

One of the bigger lines for this fall is called Bratz Boutique. As the title suggests, the theme of the line is shopping! Surprisingly, this is actually the very first shopping line that the Bratz have ever had! This line includes the core four – each dressed to impress in cool casual fashions that show off each girl’s unique style and attitude, along with a fully-stocked store full of shopping accessories! As to be expected, additional outfits are included in each girl’s shop, and third fashions may be included as well, though it is unclear at the moment. Regardless, this line is definitely one to watch for!

L-R: Jade, Yasmin, Cloe, and Sasha. Ignore the “Sasha not included” text, that’s just a distribution thing! Keep in mind that these are prototypes too 😉

Another biggie for this fall is a hairplay line called Style Starz. This line is special because for the first time ever, the Bratz will be rockin’ interchangeable wigs! While no full photos have been released as of yet, toy fair reports say the line’s general look is “very Lady GaGa”, which is great in our book!

And on the topic of hairplay lines, Crystalicious will be following the example set by Featherageous with a quirky name and floor-length saran hair! This line will feature the core four in chic and shimmery party dresses adorned with sparkly flowers and ruffles. The hairplay gimmick is that each doll includes fun crystals to add to your dolls’ hair – and your’s too!

Here’s the group promo for Crystalicious (L-R: Sasha, Cloe, Jade, and Yasmin) as well as three individual photos of Cloe, Yasmin, and Jade!

Another trademark for the Bratz are their sleepwear lines, and this fall we’ll see a new line called Satin Sleepover. At the moment, literally nothing is known of this line other than its name, but based on that, we’re expecting something along the lines of a Nighty-Nite 3.0! If that truly is the case, then we’re beyond excited!

One of the more extensive lines for this fall is called Chic Mystique. Like last year’s Masquerade line, this will be a costume party-themed line, only way more over the top! This line stars the core four in stunning ball gowns and masks – with a twist! At the pull of a lever, their gowns lift up to reveal gorgeous wings and a funky party outfit! Also worth noting is the absolutely brilliant new shoe mold this line debuts, as well as the return of wild hair colors for the Bratz. According to Toy Fair photos, this line will also have an accompanying line of Funky Fashion Makeover styling heads.

This is the group promo for the Chic Mystique, L-R: Cloe, Sasha, Jade, and Yasmin!

Also upcoming from the Bratz is a new spin-off line called Bratzillaz. The Bratzillaz are a group of teenaged witches whose pets each possess a special power unique to them! This line is going to be a major brand for MGA this fall, with a line of dolls, sold-separately pets, fashion packs, accessory packs, and even a web series! So far we have the names of two of the Bratzillaz girls – Cloetta and Sashabella. These names have us wondering if the line will tie into the main Bratz plot somehow…? Time will tell!

These are the four Bratzillaz dolls. We’re not sure who is who at the moment, but they’re all super cute!

Here’s a shot of the Bratzillaz display at Australia’s Toy Fair this past February! Photo taken by Timmy AKA Araparap

Well Bratz fans, that’s the scoop for now! Keep checkin’ back for more!

Stay tuned & stay stylin’!
