Hey Bratz Fans!

Thanks to one of our besties, Nik, we now have a promo pic of the new Bratzillaz Back to Magic Jade J’Adore doll! This photo comes from Very.co.uk, a shopping site in the United Kingdom. Check her out below!

WOW! How wicked is she?! This look is SO much better than the fall basic Jade we saw on taobao the other day. It’s great to see Miss J’Adore switchin’ up her hair colors, and that OUTFIT is just perfect! It almost looks like she took some style pointers from her Bratz cousin Jade! 😉 Keep in mind that this is a late prototype though, very much like the original promos we saw for Back to Magic Meygana, Sashabella, and Victoria, and some minor details will probably be changed, but she’ll likely stay almost exactly like this in production just like the others.

Hey Bratz Fans!

Tonight, Bratz My Passion and Bratz Action Heroez (again just Yasmin, Cloe, and Shira) have hit everybody’s favorite Chinese auction site, taobao! This isn’t major news, but it’s great to see these dolls all boxed up and exactly as they’ll appear on store shelves! Plus, we finally get a look at how Phoebe and Roxxi will turn out! Check ’em all out below.

First, here’s My Passion! A HUGE thank you to one of our besties, Sailorb1959 for sharing these! The box design for My Passion is really cool and fresh! We can’t think of any other time where we saw the entire art for each girl on the front of their boxes – drawn even bigger than the dolls themselves! Sasha and Cloe totally have the best art in our opinions, though they’re all super cute! Jade, the doll, is looking very saran as well 😉

How super-cool are the Heroez’ art? We are living for Shira’s heroic pose! The most interesting thing about these boxes is towards the bottom though…

Our “Wonder Twiins” are looking super so far! The photo isn’t very clear, so we can’t really see any details, but we think their colors compliment each other well, though pastel pink and black were always more Phoebe’s colors 😉 Something that we’ve all been worried about is what color hair the dolls will have. In their last appearance in 2010, the original twosome were sporting very bland, brown hair as opposed to their signature auburn and black locks. Since the back of the box is black, it’s hard to determine whether that is the case again here, or if they do in fact have their original colors in a darker shade (Think Birthday Bash Phoebe) – we’ll have to wait and see! The powers each girl has is too cute! Phoebe has an “ice shield”, while her twiin works the “fire whip”, Cloe can speed dash, Shira can fly, and Yasmin can… twirl? LOL! We love it!

What are your thoughts on these cool new dolls? Let us know on facebook and twitter!

Hey Bratz Fans!

We have SO much love for Amazon right now! Today, they finally added photos to their listings for three of the five Bratz Action Heroez dolls! The Bratz “wonder twiins” Roxxi and Phoebe are yet to be seen, but for now we have the amazing Yasmin, Cloe, and Shira! Check ’em all out below.

How awesome are they?! We love that Bratz are continuing to take on themes that would usually be considered “kiddy” (Like mermaids, princesses, and now super-heroes) and doing them in a totally new and edgy Bratz way by incorporating real current trends! We are all over the BRIGHT, neon look on these girlz – they are totally in with the recent trend of colorful sporty-inspired dresses. Yasmin is the most colorful of the three, with that eye-popping electric lime green, black, and magenta look! Her hair is kind of like Neon Runway Sasha’s, which we love since that doll was never released! As usual, Bratz are killing it with their big variety of materials on a single outfit. On Yasmin alone, we can count at least four different fabrics! All the netting is awesome, though we do wish it were “stretched” a bit more, to make it more obvious that it is in fact netting. Her stockings are super cute, and the SHOES on all three are just to die for!! Again, totally trendy at the moment! We LOVE the colors, and the clear plastic platforms! The girlz can really kick out the competition now with all these new shoes for fall 😉 Cloe is totally cute too! Her outfit isn’t as over-the-top as Yasmin’s, but just as awesome! We LOVE the spandex and the symmetrical cut-outs on her legs and torso areas! The little “Pow!” belts on all three were a really great touch, too. Finally, is the return of SHIRA! We loved “Drama Mama” in 10/10/10, but we must say this look for her is even better! The light grey eye color looks awesome against her darker skin tone, and her makeup palette is super cool! Her outfit is a suit like Cloe’s with cut-outs, though Shira’s aren’t symmetrical and give more of a “ripped” appearance. The cut out over her stomach gives us a perfect view of the new surprise torso joint we’re getting! We can totally sacrifice articulation on the basic lines if it means getting even more on the big ones!

Each doll in the Action Heroez line comes with a new Bratz brush and an adorable figurine that unlocks activities in an upcoming Bratz Action Heroez app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch! We can’t wait to play!

So what do YOU think of the new Bratz Action Heroez? Do they save your day or leave you hangin’? Let us know on facebook and twitter!

Hey Bratz Fans!

TaoBao never seems to disappoint! Tons of pics of the new dolls in their final stage have been revealed! Forget prototypes, we’ve got the real thing right here! This is the way the dolls will look when they hit shelves hopefully super soon…

ImageImageImage
Here we see Twisty Styles without all the fancy do-das in their hair, so don’t worry about that! They’ll look ever cooler once those all get put in! We’re really glad to see that the outfits really haven’t changed all that much, as we totally loved them as prototypes. Sadly the hair seems to be Nylon, which is a first for a Bratz hair-play line, BUT the colours are to die for (especially Jade’s)! As for the faces, they seem to have changed a little, but keeping the same basic idea in mind. Be sure to click the pictures for a closer look to see for yourself.

ImageImage
Here are Cloe and Jade from Costume Bash and we could not be happier with the turn out! Check out how much like the prototypes they are! Although, Cloe’s eyes seemed to have changed a tiny bit, as well as the colour of her streaks from purple to pink. Both dolls are flawless, we’re so excited! Can’t wait to see Yasmin eventually…

Image
Also, look at the back of the box! First of all, that artwork is SO COOL. And second, we love the promo MGA is adding on the back of the boxes. It’s bound to bring some new fans into the online world of Bratz!

ImageImageImage
Awww look at the basic Bratz! They look just like the prototypes, it’s great! Still looking fabulous as ever! Yasmin even seems to have make up that’s just a tiny bit lighter than her prototype, so that’s nice to see. Looking good, girls!

Image
Lastly we have the new basic Jade J’adore Bratzillaz! She’s definitely very…. red. Haha! We love the shoes, that’s an awesome mold, and the skirt is pretty funky too! But we wish we weren’t getting quite as strong of a Ronald McDonald vibe! 😛 Either way, we’re excited to see how the other girls turn out!

Hey Bratz Fans!

Today, Amazon has added photos to even more of its listings for this fall’s MGA dolls! We now have photos for Bratz Costume Bash, Bratz Basic Fall 2013, and Bratzillaz Back to Magic! Check ’em all out below.

First, here is the new Bratz Basic Yasmin, Cloe, and Jade! We added Sasha to the photo as well, though we already saw – and addressed – her the other day. How amazing is this collection?! The core four is dressed to impress in super trendy fashions that also have quite a bit of edge! Yasmin’s outfit is perhaps the most on-trend in our opinions. Just look at that floral denim!! And we’re very happy to see that shoe mold again. Cloe is a major favorite of ours as well. Her look is VERY urban and edgy! The high-waisted leather shorts are HOT, as is the netted top with purple leather bustier! We aren’t incredibly thrilled about her molded purple legs, but it really isn’t an issue, and just adds to the sassy, skin-tight look of her outfit! We will say we would have loved her to include the fingerless gloves and chain belt shown in her art, but with the basic boxes being half-exposed, it makes sense for MGA to omit pieces like that, which would be incredibly easy to steal. Jade is another stunner with her edgy “goth schoolgirl”-esque look! We are so stoked to see another Jade in pigtails, and the red streaks are just awesome – we were getting bored with all the pink! Her makeup is equally rad, with her deep red lips! The outfit Kool Kat is rockin’ is too cool as well! We are loving the use of plaid, as well as the kitty face on her top – definitely a throwback to Jade’s early wardrobe!! Like Cloe, Jade also has molded leggings, but it’s really not a big deal since this line isn’t articulated anyways. The new shoe mold on Jade is amazing! We are really happy to see so many new shoes this fall, and the fact that MGA is getting back to painting the molded details make them all even better!!

And now here is this year’s “Halloween” line – Bratz Costume Bash! This line is so cool because it takes the quirkiness of the old 2006-2008 Costume Party collections, and adds a touch of last year’s Chic Mystique over-the-top attitude! It appears there’s no Sasha in the line at the moment. Yasmin is going to the bash dressed a cute cowgirl with an adorable little pink and white hat (Which is a new mold!), a bandana scarf, a tiny badge (Love it!!), and some classic Bratz Wild Wild West boots! We’d also like to point out that all three dolls come with purses. Sadly, they aren’t fabric, but the fact that we’re getting this many accessories this fall is totally something to celebrate! Cloe is probably the most OTT, as a 70’s hippie chick! We’ll admit, this look is more of a typical costume store-style hippie than a legitimate one, but we suppose that was the point of the line! A Cloe dressed in trendy boho chic clothes wouldn’t make much sense for a Costume Bash 😉 Our absolute favorite thing about this Cloe would be her shoes. No, you aren’t seeing things, MGA is seriously bringing back the fan-favorite Bratz Princess shoes for this line! We also love her long, super-curly hair and funky purple streaks! Jade would have to be our all-time favorite of the line, hands down. We don’t quite understand why she’s a gingerbread girl for Halloween – but Jade’s always been known for her quirky cool style! This doll is just SO cool and unique! From the intricately-styled white and red hair (peep the awesome “cookie” accessory!) to her (molded) stripey peppermint leggings, she is just so well put together! The little bowtie was a really great touch in our opinions! Also, note the new-new brushes. MGA updated them with the current Bratz logo!

And last, but most definitely not least, are Bratzillaz Back to Magic Victoria Antique, Sashabella Paws, and Meygana Broomstix! It appears the dolls we saw last time were very late prototypes, as these are a little different, and in our opinions, even better! We’re assuming Jade J’Adore and Illiana Honesty are shipped in a later assortment, as these three keep appearing together. First is Victoria Antique, who we are still totally loving! She hasn’t changed much from the last photo we saw, though now we can get a view of her witchmark (A snake! And all this time, we thought she was dragon-inspired) and her pet in the box (A wicked cute little turtle-esque creature). The box also reveals that her fave class is “The Science of Brew & Renew”, as her power is taking something old and making it new again! Next is Sashabella, who we are honestly so much more impressed with now! We’re so happy to see that she’s finally got some completely new makeup, with that fun bright palette on her eyes, and slightly more purple lips! The outfit hasn’t changed much, which is fine by us. We are beyond ecstatic to see that the dolls include fabric purses just like the Toy Fair prototypes we exclusively revealed! Meygana also got her glasses back, and traded in her completely braided hair for just a few braids in the front. Her outfit isn’t too different either, though the cape is now argile and doesn’t have the embroidered pattern on it. Worth noting is the new text on the box: “Bratzillaz House of Witchez”. We have no clue what this could be, though we are working on getting an answer if we can! It is interesting that “Glam Gets Wicked” is nowhere in sight, and the Bratzillaz name itself is considerably smaller than the new phrase. One guess we have is that it’s the name of a possible TV special or DVD? We already know that the Witchy Princess segment will have a detailed plot totally worthy of some form of media, so we don’t see why the witchez’ new casual looks couln’t be included in that if it were to happen 😉

UPDATE! One of our amazing friends at MGA has let us know that the “House of Witchez” tagline is NOT the title of anything upcoming, but rather a new way to let consumers know what the brand is about and that the ‘Zillaz are WITCHEZ. This is an awesome response to the ignorant haters, if we do say so ourselves!

So, what are your thoughts on these new fall segments? Let us know on facebook and twitter!

Hey Bratz Fans!

Our great friend and reader Justin shared with us these new stock photos for the Bratz Fall 2013 Basic Sasha doll, courtesy of her amazon listing! It appears that the line has no name right now, so “Basic” is what we’ll be referring to it as until it gets one (if it does)

The first thing we notice is her recycled Boutique face, and even the similar hairstyle! Of course, she’s SUPER pretty, but we do wish she were a whole new doll. None of the others in the line have photos yet, so our fingers are crossed that Dana and Kumi aren’t using Cloe and Jade’s faces! Moving on from the head, her outfit is really cute! From what we’ve seen so far, it looks like MGA is going for a bit of a retro feel this fall, with Sasha’s bell sleeves and bold, BRIGHT, pattern. We LOVE this dress! The leggings aren’t necessary though, in our opinions.

We totally LOVE the box design for the new basic segment! It’s simple but very effective with its bold, graphic look. Notice that “Unleash Your Passion!” has replaced “The Girls With a Passion for Fashion!” in the bottom banner. We’re surprised that the box still says “Psst! I’m taller!”, as that will be old news by the time the fall Bratz hit shelves.

So, what do you all think of Miss Bunny Boo in her new fall basic look? Let us know on facebook and twitter!

UPDATE! Our friend Connor has pointed out on facebook that this doll appears to lack arm articulation! That’s just odd! I guess we’ll know for sure if any of the dolls are wearing something sleeveless?

Hey Bratz Fans!

Just a quick update today. While checking the amazon listings for some of this fall’s upcoming segments, we noticed that the Bratzillaz Witchy Princess doll formerly known as Vinessa Speakers, is now called Carolina Past! The other two princesses appear to have their original names, and the rest of the listing is unchanged (Which means there are still no photos. Booooo!). To be entirely honest, we prefer this name over Vinessa Speakers for sure! Much love to the Bratz girl Vinessa, but Speakers was not a cute last name – LOL! Carolina Past fits perfectly into the “forgotten princess”/”out of the past” theme.
